Thoughts from the Admin

Something to think about when using this forum. Alot of people that have joined this club and signed up for the forum used to be part of the PTOC. Many people would go on the former clubs forum to see what was happening or to see what was new in the P T Community. One day as people woke and tried to log on they found out the fourm had been closed without any notice. No one knew what was going on or what to think. They had lost their main line of communication. It seemed like people were lost and had thoughts of  "this is the end". Some people went as far as selling their cars. I don't expect anything like that to happen here but want you to take advantage of this forum while we have it here to use. Please don't just sit back, this is here for your use. Don't wait on everyone else to post things. Even if you don't have anything to say at least tell a joke or post a picture. Everyone has at least one picture of there car.  Don't let this be something that latter you say to yourself, "I should have used that more".

Very well said. It's no secret that I strongly supported PTOC and posted on their forums. I remember the day when they started. The moderator and I chatted back and forth with each other. I also posted quite a bit (as in several thousand posts) on the PT Enthusiasts forums and remember when the PTE was just an email list, not an actual forum. I't nice to see that there are still some PT Cruiser forums left.

Pam and I haven't sold either of our Cruisers. While we haven't been around at PT Cruiser events we still are interested. Our basset hounds have simply been taking far more of our time than they did in the past, so the Cruisers have had to take a "back seat" to the dogs.

Hopefully, after Pam retires in June and we move to Fallbrook. we'll have more time to be active with our PT Cruisers. We sure do miss seeing all out Cruiser owner friends.

I wish all of you well and hope to see you son.

Glad to see you here Don and thanks for the kind words. My main reason for making this post was to get people to keep this forum more active. One thing I have learned about the San Diego group was that most people down here are used to someone else running the show and they just are along for the enjoyment and there was nothing wrong with that just as long as there was someone leading the way. Well the people that used to run things are no longer here with this group and it is up to us to to keep it going. This is our main means of keeping everyone up to date on club activies and while we are a club we are also friends.  I feel that friends don't wait for a special day once a month to talk to each other. I just want people to take advantage of this forum.
