No Meet & Greet for JuneWe will not be having our monthly meet & greet for June. As most of you know there is a carshow happenning the same day and it was voted that we would not have the meet and greet. Instead we will be going to the show at Balboa Park as a club. I here we are all supposed to bring a dish and have a pot luck at the show. If thats the case we need to start thinking about what to bring. We should make a list of who bringing what so we don't wind up with 8 dishes of beans or what ever.

We'll be bringing Tamale Pie and maybe some sort of dessert pie, like lemon or apple or whatever.

Who's all going to the balboa show? I haven't heard anything from anyone except Pat & Dottie. I will have the new club patches to give out. Remember to bring a dish, (I need to ask Martha what shes bringing for us).

Guacamooooole is good. Hey has anyone heard from Gary or mary? It seems like they disappeared off the face of the planet after the stanton show. I'm still waiting on Gary to load the pictures of Rob & Sandy's new woody work along with posting Chris's Dream Cruiser.

They came over to our house a couple days ago. I thought Gary was going to post more info about June 6th's get-together at Balboa park. I guess they've been busy with other stuff.
Anyway, It's been suggested we meet at the hospital parking lot, across the entrance to the park. The "show" starts at 9 am, but I'm not sure when they will start letting cars in.

Ok we have 5 days left and so far we have just a few people who have said they are going. So far we have Martha & I, Pat & Dottie, Bruce, Gary & Mary. I think pat & Neil will be there. That makes 9 people. Remember this is in place of our normal meet & greet. I hope we have a better turn out then that. You don't have to show your car to join in on the fun. You don't even have to pay the $10 to go if you don't want. You can always park near by and still join us. I got a call from someone ,( another pat, that makes three) who is interested in seeing what we are all about and said they will be there with veggies and dip, (forgot to mention the potluck). Please get the word out to those who don't look at the forum so we can have a goods turn out. I will be brining the new patches to those who paid and they will be available for $10 dollars for those want to buy one. I also ordered the smaller ones and we should be getting them in about a week. One more thing don't forget the banner. I'll see everyone there, lets have some fun.

I will be there Saturday. What if I get some Polo Loco chicken Friday night and bring it? I could get a 20 piece or something and maybe potatoe salad? Do people like that better than KFC?

I got a call from a business that takes the haze off the headlights on P T's. He will be showing up at the show and charges $40 per car. He says its a 13 step process and he will back his work up for as long as you own the car. If anyone wants to contact him his name is Rick Degraw and he can be reached at 760-221-7831.
