I had an idea for a while now and want to bring it up at the next meet and greet. But I wanted to tell you about it in case you have some ideas on what the best way to make it affordable if everyone wants to get them made. My idea is to have a club patch made, (9 x 4 and will look like our club logo).  I thought that if we have a patch made, we could each get our own jacket or wind breaker and sew them on ourselfs. It would be better if we had the design put on jackets but that may be a bit costly for most of us, (Around $99 each and we wouldn't know how many of each sizes to order) . If we just get the patch made it would cost a lot less and we could get a better deal on a quanity order. I have been checking a few places and so far I can get 12 made at $25 each. The more you order the less they cost. Am example if we order 50 they would cost $10 each, ( but we don't need 50).  By the meet and greet I will have a couple of more places give me prices.

Well I found a place were we can get a better deal. They have a minimun order of 25 but they cost $10 each so we would basicly get twice as many for they same price as the other place I looked. Its also local and its right down the street from my house.

The more I think about it the more I think we should order these. I know I will buy at least two maybe more. We could pay for the rest with the club funds and what we don't sell we could sell as new members come in. I know most of you spend at least $20 on raffle tickets. If we sold 20 we would only have to pay $50 out of club funds. what does everyone else think?

The new patches have been ordered. They weren't sure on how long it would take, (I was dealing with a part time teenage worker who didn't have a clue much less a thought). The people that will be doing the work will contact me on when we can expect them. In the mean time I asked for a quote on a smaller patch, (for the front about one third the size of this one). The club also voted on a black wind breaker to sew them on. I will check around for a good quality and price.

I heard we should be getting the patches some time this week. Has anyone found a deal on black wind breakers?

I called the store were I ordered the patches and they told me that the company won't send them out until tuesday or wedsday of next week. They are coming from a company in LA so we will have them by the show at Balboa on the 6th. Now I know there are some good shoppers out there that can find us a good price on jackets. Has anyone found a deal on black wind breakers?

The Bargin Center in North Park has Black Windbreakers
sizes s-xl are $17.00 xxl are $20.00.  They are water resistance.
When I was there they didn't have alot of sizes instock, said to order
them it would take about 5 days to get them, once we knew all the sizes.
They are lined, elastic cuffs, snap closure, drawstring at the bottom.
